TAE instant granules
TAE is a widely used nucleic acid electrophoresis buffer in biology, mainly used for agarose gel electrophoresis of DNA . TAE instant granules refer to TAE buffer ( 40mMTris -acetate, 1mMEDTA-2Na ) used in daily experimental work presented in the form of instant granules. TAE instant granules are simple and fast to use, without the need for tedious preparation processes such as calculation, weighing, and pH adjustment. They can be used immediately after taking them. In addition, the standardized large-scale production process of TAE instant granules can avoid errors in the manual preparation process and ensure the intra-batch and inter-batch stability of the buffer.
When TAE is used as the electrophoresis buffer, the migration rate of double-stranded linear DNA is faster during electrophoresis. When the fragment is larger than 13kb , TAE is generally recommended for electrophoresis separation. TAE is suitable for the recovery of DNA fragments. Due to the small buffer capacity of TAE , it is not recommended for long-term electrophoresis (such as overnight).
