Quantity:100µg Purification:Immunogen affinity purified Form:liquid Purity:?95% as determined by SDS-PAGE Host:Rabbit Clonality:polyclonal Clone ID: Isotype:IgG Storage:PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3 , -20? for 12 months (Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.) Background:The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regµLation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. This encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that is known to complex with integrins. This protein appears to promote muscle cell fusion and support myotube maintenance. Also it may be involved in signal transduction. This gene is localized in the tumor-suppressor gene region and thus it is a candidate gene for malignancies. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Immunogen:CD81 molecµLe Synonyms:CD81, CD81 antigen, CD81 molecµLe, S5.7, TAPA1, Tetraspanin 28, Tspan 28, TSPAN28 Observed MW:25-30 kDa Uniprot ID:P60033 Reactivity:, Mouse, Rat Tested Application:ELISA, IHC, WB Recommended dilution:WB: 1:500 - 1:2000; IHC: 1:50 - 1:200 Gene ID:975 Research Area:Immunology, CardiovascµLar, Signal Transduction
