ELISA BPI anti-
Quantity:100µg
Purification:Immunogen affinity purified
Form:liquid
Purity:?95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Host:Rabbit
Clonality:polyclonal
Clone ID:
Isotype:IgG
Storage:PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3,-20? for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.)
Background:The cytotoxic action of BPI is limited to many species of Gram-negative bacteria; this specificity may be explained by a strong affinity of the very basic N-terminal half for the negatively charged lipopolysaccharides that are unique to the Gram-negative bacterial outer envelope. Has antibacterial activity against the Gram-nagative bacterium P.aerµginosa, this activity is inhibited by LPS from P.aerµginosa.
