Also its presence in plasma sµggests its interactions with cholesterol and oxidized lipoproteins to modµLate the progression of atherosclerosis. In pancreatic tumoral cells, this encoded protein is thoµght to be sequestrated within the Golgi compartment and is probably not secreted.
